Awami League President and former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to address supporters tonight at 9 PM as part of a programme titled “March of Light.”
The programme is being organized under the theme “From Mourning to Awakening, From Awakening to Return” to commemorate August and remember Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatun Nesa Mujib.
According to a programme poster circulated by Bangladesh Chhatra League, Sheikh Hasina will join the event as the chief guest, while Chhatra League President Saddam Hossain is scheduled to preside.
The programme is scheduled for today at 9 PM and is expected to be broadcast through the Facebook pages of the Awami League and Bangladesh Chhatra League.
