Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman showed special respect to the farmers and workers of Bengal in every speech he delivered. He used to address them as the “owners of the country.” The full realization of his dream of ‘BAKSAL’ is embodied in the Bangladesh Krishak Shramik Awami League.
Bangladesh is an agriculture-based country, and the backbone of its economy rests on the sweat and blood of farmers, laborers, and hardworking people. At the core of Bangabandhu’s politics were these farmers and laborers. They also remain the most devoted and largest voter base of the Awami League.
Currently, the Rajakars, Al-Badr, and Western capitalist forces are cunningly trying to sideline the farmers and workers of Bengal from politics. Under the guise of the so called “student-people movements,” they are actually promoting the JG generation’s militant groups and proxy organizations serving foreign interests. Through this, a cunning blueprint is being implemented to strip the true owners of Bangladesh its farmers and workers of their political power.
Mark my words, another ‘Mujib Spring’ will come in Bangladesh under the banner of the Awami League. This new awakening will be led by the marginalized farmers, workers, and laboring classes of the country. They will rise from villages to cities and stand against the so-called “militant forces” operated in Yunus’s model, building a new Bangladesh based on Bangabandhu’s ideals a prosperous, just, and farmer worker centered nation.
