{"id":2341,"date":"2026-06-25T12:24:45","date_gmt":"2026-06-25T12:24:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.thenationix.com\/?p=2341"},"modified":"2026-06-25T12:24:49","modified_gmt":"2026-06-25T12:24:49","slug":"uk-chhatra-leagues-disciplined-rally-draws-praise-at-awami-leagues-77th-founding-anniversary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.thenationix.com\/?p=2341","title":{"rendered":"UK Chhatra League\u2019s Disciplined Rally Draws Praise at Awami League\u2019s 77th Founding Anniversary"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The UK chapter of Bangladesh Awami League celebrated the <strong>77th founding anniversary<\/strong> of the party with a colourful rally, discussion meeting and grand gathering, attended by a large number of expatriate Bangladeshis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A major highlight of the programme was the <strong>disciplined and well-organised procession of UK Chhatra League<\/strong>, led by <strong>Shehab Hossain Jebin<\/strong> and <strong>Russell Ahmed Khan Suhel<\/strong>, which drew widespread praise from participants and community members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hundreds of leaders, activists and supporters joined the rally carrying national and party flags, banners and festoons before taking part in the main anniversary gathering organised by the UK Awami League.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speakers said Bangladesh Awami League, founded on <strong>June 23, 1949<\/strong>, has played a historic role in the <strong>Language Movement, the Liberation War, and the democratic struggles of Bangladesh<\/strong>. They also highlighted the party\u2019s contributions to the country\u2019s development under the leadership of <strong>Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman<\/strong> and <strong>Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Addressing the event, <strong>Shehab Hossain Jebin<\/strong> said the Awami League\u2019s 77-year journey is one of \u201cstruggle, sacrifice and achievement,\u201d while <strong>Russell Ahmed Khan Suhel<\/strong> called the founding anniversary \u201ca significant chapter in Bangladesh\u2019s political history.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme ended with special prayers for the peace, progress and prosperity of Bangladesh, as leaders expressed hope for the continued success of the party and the country\u2019s democratic advancement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The UK chapter of Bangladesh Awami League celebrated the 77th founding anniversary of the party with a colourful rally, discussion meeting and grand gathering, attended by a large number of expatriate Bangladeshis.
